2006 Research into the role of reading aloud to increase fluency and comprehension to support the development of Guided Audio published MTA
2004-2007 In depth analysis of BST data for individual schools and systems.
2001 Awarded an Australian Research Grant to commence Masters (Hons). This study aimed to explore the relationship between school culture and teacher learning. In particular it aimed to highlight the factors operating in a school culture that enable teachers to turn their professional development learning into successful classroom practices.
2000 Researched, developed and trialled a social skills program for an inner city school experiencing student behaviour problems.
1997 Wrote, trialled and evaluated the Frameworks Spelling Module
1996-1997 Analysed Year 5 results across all schools in the standardised testing (DART) used in Archdiocese of Sydney
1995-1997 Evaluated the 5 day Early Literacy Course conducted in the Archdiocese of Sydney
1994 Trialled and evaluated the Frameworks Assessment and Evaluation Module
1994 Prepared a report on the impact of a staff development program on teacher learning for Wollongong University (Co-author)
