In recent years more attention is being given to the aspect of school culture. This learning experience leads the leadership team and/or staff through a process to examine the school culture and the impact that particular culture may be having on teaching and learning. School culture is explored within the interdependent categories of school community, values and beliefs, processes and conditions.
Using the model below as a framework, the process aims to identify some of the considerations related to the quadrants and to provide background research so that you can begin to think more deeply about the existing culture in your school from a range of viewpoints. It provides a starting point for some reflection and provides useful tools to use with staff.
